The first touch of our newborn is one of the most precious moments of our life. The moment they are born brings the thrill of amazement. It brings a smile on our face which never fades away.
On June 15th, We headed out with Melanie and Christian to catch the radiant Sunset at Silver Sands Beach in Milford
We are so excited to share this album, we cannot wait for their wedding and to see what the future brings for these two love birds!
It was a beautiful day on the 6th of June and the excitement was brewing. Sean had planned this amazing surprise proposal for Val without her knowing at all!
You've stumbled upon this blog post, so it seems you must be getting married, or know a Bride to be! Here are some incredibly helpful tips so you, and those around you can not only survive, but savor the big day!
Tip #1 - Live in the moment! The day is finally here! Every single aspect might not be completely flawless.. But you will remember it all as perfect! You will remember the sweat, the tears, the mess ups.. But that's what becomes your wedding story! That's what you and your spouse will talk about for years to come - all of the details that didn't come out quite ideal, will be the most memorable.
Tip #2 - Enjoy the process!! I cannot stress this enough! The planning, the cake testing, smelling the flowers, picking out the venue.. Etc. You can get so caught up in the excitement and the jitters of being engaged, imagining being newlyweds and making memories; take a few minutes to just enjoy it. This is a brand new stage in your relationship and in your lives. In my own planning process, we had the wedding set for the month of September (no deposits had been put down yet thankfully) and then life happened, and we had to move up the wedding four months earlier! So that meant change of venue, flowers, guest lists, caterers.. We ended up planning our whole wedding in TWO MONTHS! I truly wish we had gotten the opportunity to take time as a couple to experience the planning process!
Tip #3 - Remember to EAT on your wedding day! Even if it's just a bite or a smoothie, you have to fuel your body for the big day ahead. If the nervous jitters prevent you from feeling hungry, set a reminder on your phone or put a bridesmaid in charge of keeping a snack on hand for you for when things settle down for a bit! During cocktail hour and the reception, you might not have a ton of time to sit down and eat in between dances, greeting guests and photos!
Tip #4 - Soak in some alone time with your Hubby/Wife to be! It will be difficult for you two will get a moment alone together until the end of the night, but if you take a few minutes aside during Bride/Groom portraits to take a walk alone, this will not only give you two some time to bask in the moment, but it will also give your photographer a chance to catch some real, authentic, loving photos of the two of you!
Tip #5 - Leave a review/feedback for your vendors! After the wedding is over, the music dies down and the photos have been posted, take a second to write a review on social media of your vendors! Truthfully, a good review is just as good as a tip - because it helps future clientele have confidence in booking them for their big day, and hopefully it will turn out as amazing as yours!
