On the beautiful day of April 27th, 2018, we set out to the New Haven Hotel and Home in Stratford, to get some memorable shots of our Bride and Groom getting ready to be wed! As we made our way to the gorgeous Lighthouse Point Park, the wind picked up and the temperature was dropping, but Love in the air remained sky high. A whimsical carousel was the perfect addition! Throughout the Ceremony and Reception, the happiness and adoration between Rachel and Greg was felt by everyone in attendance. The light saber exit was a classic move that will be talked about for years to come. It was an honor to be apart of this huge life moment for two wonderful people! Congratulations Rachel & Greg, we wish you many amazing years! It was the 25th of April and as the flowers bloomed and spring arrived so did a new little bundle of joy for the Morales family. We took a stroll at the beautiful Booth Hill Memorial Park to capture the excitement of their new little girl. After photographing their beautiful wedding and watching their family blossom it brings me so much joy seeing how happy and healthy they are. Enjoy every moment you guys! Thank you again for letting me capture your timeless memories. Cheers to many more!  On April 20th we galloped to JC's Pony Parties Farm in Seymour for Adianna's 4th Birthday Party. As the beautiful rainbow pony made her way to Adianna, her eyes lit up and smiled from ear to ear! She and all her friends could not get enough riding around and having so much fun. With more things to do like brushing charlie or even painting a horse, the fun and excitement continued. The kids and the adults enjoyed petting some cool animals and horses in their amazing stalls. Pinata time and oh was that fun even though this pinata was made out of steel, the adults couldn't crack this one open, but finally the candy poured and the kids filled up their goodie bags! Finishing up the day with pizza and an amazing Unicorn cake as everyone sang happy birthday and the love from all her family and friends came together for a one of a kind birthday. Thank You for giving me the opportunity to capture your special day. Happy Birthday!  As far as fairy tales go this amazing styled shoot could of been pulled right from the books of Disney himself. This story takes place at the Tamarack Lodge in Voluntown, CT. The intended atmosphere is a little bit of nostalgic with a modern version. Rustic walls representing a log cabin, exposed industrial beams, vintage furniture and light fixtures with an inviting experience as soon as you walk through the door. Starting the day with Hair and Makeup by Sara Julianna Beauty & Transcendent Makeup. They set the tone for the day by emphasizing the beauty of our amazing models Genesis Paternina & Marcelino Class, and TaylorVertefeuille. Sarah Brehant our amazing wedding planner did an outstanding job once again facilitating this awesome project. Tracy with All My Heart Events came through yet again with stunning one of a kind arrangements and rustic settings to capture the essence of our forest fairy tale. As our decor was coming together Tara with TS calligraphy provided us with the most beautiful signage, details, and stationary hand written and magical. Our beautiful gowns from Jacqueline Bridal Kouture, and the most Delicious cake from Donna Bartlett at The Kakery. Everything was starting to come together! Our friend from Millside Wedding Films came to film our fairy tale also. Now its time to start shooting and guess who shows up... Puppies!! Well a little bigger then we anticipated but the cutest rescues around! :) Elana Rogan with The Animal Experts and For The Love Of Paws provided us with some rescues to kick off the day. The mist from the cold crisp air blew through the forest trees and the rain subsided just enough for us to capture the magic and love between our gorgeous models. Taking a stroll through the woods to a teepee yes I said teepee we have seen it all! The laughter and fun followed like the sweeping aroma of pine from the forest. We finished our fairy tale with toasts and cheers, vows, and a kiss to seal the deal. I want to personally thank everyone who had a part in bringing this vision to life!  On April 4th the sun was shining and the birds were chirping. Shakiba and her husband took a short stroll in the beautiful Twin Brooks Park. Their soon to arrive little girl decided to kick her way in to every shot the laughter and excitement followed the cool breeze of the spring air. we can't wait to meet her. A baby makes love stronger, the days shorter, the nights longer, savings smaller, and a home happier. Congratulations to the both of you!  |
